Directory Sources and Accuracy

California DHCS public treatment records are available through an external state service. Recovery-housing resources link to independent directories. An entry does not establish a current opening, service suitability or endorsement. Some maps show approximate postal areas rather than exact homes. Verify details directly with operators and issuing authorities.

Treatment directory provenance

California treatment records are sourced from the public Department of Health Care Services dataset. A record may describe a licensed facility or published service classification, but it does not tell a visitor whether admissions staff can accept a particular person today. Confirm the current service scope and credentials directly with the provider and government source.

Recovery-housing source limitations

Public recovery-housing information is not a census of all sober living options. The current public site links to external research and certification tools. An absent listing does not mean a home is unlicensed or unavailable, and certification or association membership must be interpreted according to the issuing organization.

Freshness and location precision

A current date for a dataset is not necessarily a current date for every field. Some source map coordinates may represent generalized ZIP areas, not exact facility locations. Do not infer a house address, open bed or eligibility from a map point. Use published source links and ask the operator to confirm relevant business information.
