OUR FOUNDER THE STORY BEHIND THE MISSION
Experience shaped the mission. Clarity drives what comes next.
Why Michael King created Welcome Home Bridge—and why the transition from treatment into recovery housing deserves a clearer path.
Platform in development · No treatment, referral, placement or live bed-availability service is currently offered.
A PERSONAL REASON TO BUILD
Why I built Welcome Home Bridge
I did not start Welcome Home Bridge because I saw another opportunity to build software. I started it because I know how much the next step after treatment can matter.
My own experience with addiction, recovery, and rebuilding my life showed me how complicated the transition from structured treatment into sober living can feel. Knowing where to go, what to expect, and how to verify housing information should not create another layer of uncertainty.
I wanted to build something practical that could help close the information gap between treatment programs, recovery-housing operators, and people preparing for their next chapter.
Through Mindset Media Group, I am bringing lived experience and technology together to develop Welcome Home Bridge. We are starting in Southern California with public information, business conversations, and responsible product development.
My goal is to make the next step in recovery clearer, better informed, and less uncertain.

PURPOSE, WITH RESPONSIBLE BOUNDARIES
A clearer next step starts with better information.
Welcome Home Bridge is being developed to make recovery-housing information easier to research and to explore future, nonclinical coordination between participating organizations.
The platform remains in development. It does not currently provide treatment, clinical recommendations, referrals, housing placements, live bed availability, or patient-level care coordination. Any future coordination tools require appropriate legal, privacy, vendor, and operational approvals.
